These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the private tour and travel-arrangement services provided by A-Trading Japan Co., Ltd. (trading as Private Kansai Tours by Shogo; "we", "us", "our"). By submitting a booking request and paying a deposit, you ("the Guest", "you") agree to these Terms.

We provide private guiding and the arrangement of related travel components — which may include accommodation, ground transport, rail tickets, experiences and entrance reservations — tailored to each Guest. The specific services, dates and price for your trip are set out in your individual quotation, which forms part of the agreement together with these Terms.
A booking becomes confirmed only when both of the following are complete:
Prices are quoted as stated in your quotation. Where amounts are quoted in a foreign currency (e.g. AUD), the figure is an estimate based on the exchange rate assumed in the quotation. The final amount may be adjusted to reflect the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment. Unless stated otherwise, meals and personal expenses are not included.

Payment is made via the payment link or invoice we provide. The deposit is applied towards the total price.
If you cancel, the following applies to the guiding, transport and experience portion of the price:

We will do our best to accommodate changes requested after confirmation, subject to availability and any supplier charges. We may need to adjust the itinerary for reasons of safety, weather, availability or circumstances beyond our control, and will offer a reasonable alternative of comparable value where possible.
Certain activities (for example river cruises and outdoor experiences) may be suspended by the operator due to weather or river conditions. Where an activity cannot run, we will arrange a suitable alternative; any unavoidable supplier costs are handled per Section 6. We are not liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, natural disasters, transport disruption, strikes or government action.
Ground transport on tour is provided in a rental vehicle driven by your guide (Shogo). This is not a chauffeured-car or licensed passenger-transport service. Where a separate chauffeur or taxi/hire service is arranged at your request, it is provided by a third-party operator under their terms.
We strongly recommend that all Guests hold comprehensive travel insurance covering medical care, cancellation and personal belongings. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the services we provide, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts or omissions of independent third-party suppliers.
We handle your personal information solely to arrange and deliver your trip. Booking and payment records, including your acceptance of these Terms, are retained for up to five (5) years for accounting and dispute-resolution purposes, then securely deleted.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Nara, Japan.
